Cloud, Sephiroth and Tifa are characters of Final Fantasy VII...

Cloud and Tifa are childhood friends, Cloud left Nibelheim to be a part of soldier. He didn't make it as a soldier, but became friends with Zack a soldier first class. Later on Tifa hated soldier and Shinra after Sephiroth (A soldier first class) destroyed Nibelheim and Sephiroth killing her father. She attacked Sephiroth but only received fatal injuries, Zack then attacked Sephiroth then Cloud giving the final blow before trying to return towards the unconscious Tifa but collapsing due to heavy injuries
