This one is a bit hit or miss as far as how effective my strategy is. Plant the explosive trees in a straight line from one water tree to the other. Make sure the line isn't in front of the water trees because you want them to go off at the same time the other trees explode. Then make another line of explosive trees a little behind the first so that any fire that makes it through the first line will hit the second and hopefully let water into that area.
