This is a remake of Fossil Canyon from Diddy Kong Racing built to take advantage of Mario Kart 8 mechanics like tricks, antigrav, gliding, and underwater sections as well as a complete graphical overhaul. The look of the level was actually inspired more by Diddy Kong Racing DS which gave the track more of a desert theme.

There's still a number of issues with lighting and whatnot most notably in the tunnel section, but given my declining interest in this mod in particular and Mario Kart modding in general, I do not expect them to be fixed soon so don't ask. This was intended to be a quick project, but a number of issues and my interest in modding plummeting drug it out and I don't really want to work on this thing any more right now.
