Our adventurers press ever deeper beneath Phandalin and into the madness of Illithinoch!
The session began with the slaying of a twisted cloaker mutate lurking near the gibbering mouthers' lair. From there, the party followed the winding tunnels until they stood before the shadowy gates of Illithinoch, a city corrupted by the Elder Brain’s influence. Disguised as loyal cultists, they infiltrated the city without drawing suspicion.
But deception gave way to blades as they struck down two unsuspecting worshipers. Their descent into the madness of Illithinoch led them to a chamber lined with pods and the slumbering nothics. A brutal battle erupted, and the party emerged victorious.

Finally, they came face-to-face with the Elder Brain itself. With steel and spell, they brought the ancient horror down, shattering the heart of Illithinoch.

But their journey is far from over. Tonight, the party continues their descent, seeking a path into the Far Realm to rescue the remaining townsfolk from their Mind Flayer captors. Will they succeed or become lost in the madness?
