Our Adventurers journey back to Phandalin only to find the town twisted by unnatural change. Once familiar faces now wear strange expressions, and violence simmers beneath the surface. Something is infecting the townsfolk.
As paranoia grows, the party discovers that a hidden network of caverns lies beneath the city, tunnels that lead straight to the stronghold of Illithinoch, where the mind flayers’ grand design inches closer to completion. The race to stop the reassembly of the obelisk and save what remains of Phandalin begins now.
