Last time, our heroes delved deeper into the twisted secrets of Illithinoch. After uncovering a library of memory crystals, they braved one of the strange portals stepping into a nightmarish Far Realm chamber of fleshy walls, shifting floors, and countless unblinking eyes.

A bizarre device revealed a labyrinth of writhing brain matter before they were swept into a rotating puzzle room that led to Golcuus, a warped Beholder serving the Mind Flayers. The battle was brutal, but quick thinking from Wuldak gave the party a narrow escape from certain doom.

Their search yielded a strange, palm-sized hairy orb alive, gnawing harmlessly, and possibly the key to opening the Far Realm portal.

Tonight, the hunt begins for the remaining pieces needed to activate the portal and rescue Phandalin from the horrors lurking within Illithinoch.

Will they succeed or will the Far Realm consume them first?
