Shovel Knight is a truly excellent game, particularly if you like pixel art or a retro feel. There are 4 separate quests. This is about a mini game in the specter of torment quest. It involves climbing a tower of sorts, it is randomized and you have to be quick otherwise the kill floor will catch up with you. It is actually really fun though and a great way to really start to understand how to control Specter Knight's movement which is significantly different from Shovel Knight or Plague Knight (the two others i've used so far). At first I thought he could just climbs walls but no, he does a wall run, but he can't do it on every wall. The wall run has a set duration that is a little hard to time at first but if you go past it he drops down, if you get antsy and try to jump early you could miss your next goal as your jump height isn't great. At first it was really annoying but actually I think his control mechanics are quite genius because they are a like mini games in themselves. This is a little bit of a foreword OK a lot bit of a foreword and then my first successful run over the tower.
