To enable the game console.

Open the file c:\users\username\my documents\klei\donotstarve\settings.ini

Change the line
ENABLECONSOLE = false
to
ENABLECONSOLE = true

While playing don't starve press tilde (~) to get the console.

To activate console commands type:

RunScript("consolecommands")

All console commands are case sensitive. To turn off the console log press Left-Ctrl + L.

Type:

minimap = TheSim:FindFirstEntityWithTag("minimap")

press enter

type:

minimap.MiniMap:ShowArea(0,0,0,10000)

press enter

Now look at the mini map and everything should be revealed. Type the command again for game reloads, new worlds generated or inside of caves.
