I love lab textured levels. Checkerboard floor and white walls always seem to work well. Even if the layout itself is very simple, such a strong theme makes it seem more detailed than it is in a way. The crate room looks good too, but all that careful lighting gets ruined by the light amp goggles. With no shading that room is horribly ugly. There's more platforming in there but its not that bad. Crushing the cyberdemon will always be satisfying, I am a big fan of those computer monitor switches with descriptions of what they do. Its a great way of making the map feel like there's an actual mission and you're not just killing stuff to kill it. I really hope we get more stuff like that, where the map is changing in a functional way.
