I spent quite a few hours trying to get this demo, and if I had to guess, I made *at least* 2000 resets over 4 days. The map itself isn't that bad, so I didn't mind grinding out this strategy, because I knew this was possible if I just had the stars align right. So this defintiely deserves a writeup.

I usually got past the start easily, but of course it's tricky, so I died a lot here. A good number of runs ended within 10 seconds. Afterwards it isn't so bad though. The first trick I used was the telefrag attempts up by the SSG, in order to kill the HKs if possible. I managed all three only a couple of times, two of them with a good rate, and almost always got one everytime. But usually the run would end there, since if mis-timed you get clawed to death easily. I only got one this time, and almost died as well.

The second trick is tele-fragging the cyberdemon. I managed this quite a few times, and I spent at least 3 hours trying to find a reliable way to get him in there (hint: there isn't, lol). So I also failed many times at this point. I got UBER lucky, and the CG up top on that balcony thing hit the cyberdemon *just as* he was stepping onto the little floor indent that is the location of the teleport thing. So I immediately book it to that teleporter by the red door, and bingo, one 'sploded cyberdemon.

After that it's cleanup time, but I -ALMOST- threw the run by sloppily running past the two trap CG guys and nearly getting stuck and shot to pieces instead of peeking the corner and blasting them. Not only that, but on the way out I almost got shot up again. Luckily, I think the one was too low to hit me over the edge of the platform, so I survived.

The rocket launcher makes killing all the rest of the monsters easy, and it also serves as a vessel for finishing the map via a rocket-splash-death-slide into the exit through that little window, thereby skipping the red key entirely.
