Redoing this level with fast monsters. Very short and easy, but if you want to get a good time, you need a lot of luck at the start.

The first goal is to grab the shotgun as soon as possible. It's easy in UV-Max (see Skepticist's 0:33 demo) but on UV-Fast you're most likely to be killed immediately at point blank by the three shotgunners behind the door. The only way to survive this part is by sheer luck, hoping that the imps move to clear the way so that you can enter the door (which often doesn't happen), and then hoping that at least some of the shotgunners will miss you. Without fast monsters you can ignore them and grab the red key behind them, but here it's in your best interest to get rid of them quickly before proceeding.

Next, it's a question of dodging imp fireballs and not missing shots. Here, I made a stupid fumble by missing the button at first, in the red key area. (I therefore think that the time can be improved by a few seconds using this strategy, although getting below 50 seconds was extremely hard for me.) I also missed one shot but from here on, I got very very lucky with the shotgun, by achieving one-shot double kills on unweakened enemies no less than three times, without taking the time to line them up first.

How to improve? Well, in my second best time of 0:50.03, I had a better start. Also, perhaps it is possible to snatch the red key before shooting the shotgunners and survive (increased infighting would improve the time). It would be nice to see a demo in which it is done. In Skepticists's demo, he also switches the chainsaw with the shotgun while jumping down to the exit door, and then kills the final imp with the shotgun. This probably saves a tiny bit of time as well.
