Inspired by the Reading Gamebow group's Team Reading, I am replaying Doom 64 on ultra hard settings. What is ultra hard you may ask? Further inspired by Decino's Doom 64 play through, it is "Watch Me Die" difficulty with pistol starts, fast monsters, and no mid-level loading. This secret map known as "In The Void," is one of my favorite levels of the game. The hardest part is dealing with the pain elementals which can sneak a lost soul behind you while you're dealing with other demons. By the time I got the demon key I had enough of them and exited the level haha.
