I should be fair on this one; it was one of the first PWADs to replace an entire episode, so the authors should get credits for that. As such, it's obviously a very old PWAD...

But that doesn't really excuse much of this design. JUST LOOK AT IT.

If you thought this map was short, don't get your hopes up for any mammoth expeditions into the unknown; each and every map is wiped away at around this speed, with the exception of E3M9. But we'll talk about that one later.

The texturing and layout here is horrible, to say the least. Doors aren't exactly clearly marked, which would be fine if they led to secret areas, but they don't. This is only the first map, and aesthetically it's going to give you a migraine.
