Doom Eternal Walkthrough Gameplay Part 10
This video includes the 10th part of Doom Eternal that is played on the Xbox One.
Doom Eternal is a first person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks.
Two years after the events of 2016's Doom, Earth has been overrun by demonic forces, wiping out 60% of the planet's population, under the now-corrupted Union Aerospace Corporation (UAC). The Doom Slayer, having previously been teleported to an unknown location, returns to Earth with a new arsenal of weapons and a satellite fortress controlled by former UAC AI VEGA to quell the demonic invasion by killing the Hell Priests, three powerful magicians who work for the corrupted former leader of the Slayer's society, the Khan Maykr. The Slayer easily kills priest Deag Nilox in New York, but Khan Maykr teleports the two remaining priests to unknown locations, forcing the Slayer to continue searching.
After retrieving a celestial locator from the Sentinel world of Exultia, the Slayer retrieves a power source from a fallen Sentinel called "The Betrayer", who warns the Slayer that humanity's time has come before giving him the power source and a special dagger. VEGA directs the Slayer to a citadel in the Arctic where the second Hell Priest has taken refuge; the Slayer retrieves his Super Shotgun and defeats the Priest's guardians before beheading him. Khan Maykr moves the final Priest to a secure location, forcing the Slayer to change his tactics. He destroys the Super Gore Nest in central Europe, where the invasion began, and retrieves the Crucible and the mangled robotic body of Dr. Samuel Hayden from a compound where former UAC scientists have been trying to revive him. On Hayden's advice (and against his warnings), the Slayer travels to Phobos, where he uses a modified BFG cannon to shoot a hole in Mars to an ancient Sentinel city.
A portal in the city takes the Slayer to Sentinel Prime, where he discovers the final Priest remains hidden in a gladiatorial arena. On his way to confront the Priest, the Slayer recalls his past: following the events of Doom 64, the Slayer - then known as "Doomguy" - elected to remain in Hell to keep the demons from returning. He found his way to Sentinel Prime, where he proved his worth to the Maykrs in gladiatorial combat and was granted a place in the Night Sentinels after warning them of the demonic invasion. The Slayer was granted superhuman strength and speed by a rogue Maykr, and was sealed in Hell once again after the Khan Maykr and the Priests became corrupted by Hell's energy, leading to him being captured by the demons and discovered by the UAC in the previous game. In the present, the Slayer kills the final Priest's guardian, but is warned that he will be ostracized from the Sentinels if he kills the Priest on Sentinel ground. Unfazed, the Slayer kills him and teleports back to his fortress.
Despite stopping the demons' invasion of Earth, the Slayer's fortress is shut down remotely by the Khan Maykr, who resolves to resurrect the demon super-predator, the Icon of Sin to consume the human race. However, the Slayer uses the Crucible's latent Argent energy to reactivate the ship and travel to Argent d'Nur to retrieve and reactivate his own Crucible from his time in the Sentinels. The Slayer travels through Hell until he finds a portal leading to the Kahn Maykr's home dimension. He then finds the Khan Maykr and stops the ceremony by using the Betrayer's dagger to destroy the heart that would have allowed Khan Maykr to control the Icon of Sin, but the Icon is still resurrected and it manages to teleport to Earth. The Khan Maykr confronts the Slayer over his actions, saying that her world must destroy Earth to survive. They battle and the Slayer manages to kill the Khan Maykr before taking a portal back to Earth to confront the Icon of Sin. After an intense battle, the Slayer kills the Icon of Sin by stabbing it in the head with his Crucible and then walks away, with a voice narrating about how his fight is "eternal".
