I found this map easier than the previous one. The high-tier monsters are more isolated, and you get stronger weaponry to deal with them, including the spellbook (plasma gun replacement). I wish the map did more with the center area, i.e. the "tower" - it feels a bit empty compared to the surrounding outskirts.
