See below in this desc for demo variants. A bit different demo this time. It happens to be its own disc (WHAT A WASTE OF FULL SIZED CD'S, REALLY) and it came with December 1995 issue of PlayStation Plus magazine (UK). This little demo, again, is: Level 33 - The Gantlet on Hurt Me Plenty. At least you CAN CHANGE THEM CONTROLS! No ear raep here, you are safe.
Differences from the other demo which is on discs along other crappy demos:
- There's intro elements this time
- Disclaimer has a different appearance
- There's a demo loop & credits (!)
- There's a main menu which is pretty much pointless, really
- You can customize them controls, yay
- Stats screen after the level needs a button prompt, it won't go away automatically
- You can pause the game (see, main menu is pointless, you have pause menu which has the same crap, and because there's one level...)
- START and SELECT have the correct functions now
- Different music during gameplay
Other crap:
- Cheats either won't work or have different codes
- All the CD-audio from the retail game is present on it (rip it to WAV or FLAC if you rip it)
- If you force the demo to start another level from the main menu, it says "WHAT?" with an echo and crashes (not really, but it crashes). Because other levels won't exist.

This was played from a ROM I got, before I got the real deal and ROM'd that.

BY THE WAY... AM I THE ONLY ONE AROUND HERE WHO PLAYS PS1 GAMES IN 4:3, AS THEY SHOULD BE PLAYED (BY DEFAULT)? SERIOUSLY. I JUST CAN'T WATCH THAT STRETCHING I SEE EVERYWHERE. PUT SOME HOME-MADE BORDER AROUND IT IF YOU WANT IT TO BE IN 16:9 SO DAMN BAD. OR LEAVE IT AT 4:3, 4:3 CAN BE DAMN "HD" TOO YOU KNOW.
