So I received 10 revisions of Chex Quest 3, not all of these are found anywhere. Peter, you cool guy, you have my thanks for giving me these things. Now, these apparently all were at Chucktropolis at one point. My man, if you're watching, I respect you archiving this stuff, especially because this stuff is not found online anymore (well, at Chucktropolis at least, but I had no luck anyway), except some revision of 1.0 somewhere else, and then 1.3 which requires some work to find & 1.4 (obviously, because latest version).

This is a sort-of a follow-up to chex.wad and DOOM.WAD Playthroughs. Here, I focus on mostly E1 as that's the one I've played the most, I go up to E3 until all music changes have been done. The final E3M1 music kicks some serious ass (don't take this literally, but it's great stuff, that's what I mean). The change list gives more insight.

If you want to play them original Chex 1 and Chex 2 as these in Chex 3 have changes, get the ISO of the CD and the original Chex 2 installer and play them on DOSBox. (You can use other stuff if you have the original and the sequel together, but screw that.)

This stuff would be perfect for The Cutting Room Floor, seeing that there's 6 revisions of 1.0 and then 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 & 1.4, all being different!

As of making this video, I haven't played these through, with the exception of version 1.4, which I did recently before obtaining all others.

And I know some of you care, this was 800x600 video, where I played the game in 800x500 which letterboxes the game image while being in 4:3. This is how I watch my 16:9 flagged DVD's, I use 4:3 CRT and Letterbox them. It's INTENTIONAL THAT THIS VIDEO LOOKS LIKE THAT. Too bad there wasn't a high enough 5:4 resolution, so I settled to 16:10. 16:9 sucks pretty much. I hate it. 4:3 for life.
