0https://www.moddb.com/mods/beautiful-doom-6100 Ah..Enhancement mods, They all try to out-do each other by making Doom look better or play better but this one started it all, It was originally started in 2008 with it's newest built dropping in January 2020 and it is by Jekyll_Grim_Payne, This is the cream de le cream of those mods that give Doom a new coat of paint.
Beautiful Doom is not like a typical enhancement mod, This mod has some options that I really dig, You can use the typical Vanilla guns or select enhanced weapons which have been re-animated and it's newest build offers modern weapons which are as you'd think, Animations for monsters are changed when you select Enhanced guns.. You can use the chainsaw and watch those fucking Imps and Zombiemen fall apart after you chainsaw them which I enjoyed a LOT, The mod also adds Debris impacts, bullet casings, smoke, and other stuff, I think that Doom looks fine Vanilla but I did enjoy Beautiful Doom's changes.
