I remember when I sat down for a old game named The Pirates of Dark Water, It was a Fatal Fury clone but it brought my interest in the fighting game, I don't play them like I used to but they were a early part of my childhood, I had come across this mod browsing the Zdoom forums and It instantly brought back those memories to me.

I'm using the October 2021 release on Moddb, Author of this mod is EdyPagaza, It's Doom but if it had the combat of Fatal Fury, Street Fighter, Fighting Force and other fighting games, We're in third person and we've got punches, right hooks, kicks and the ability to grab enemies and throw them or pummel them, There's also a jump kick and jump punch, Camera can be disorienting at times, There's also a option for a A.I. helper to follow and Blur-Spheres are now Doomguy helpers.

The combat here is damn fun, and with the helper it's almost like the old days of having a friend with fatal fury, As there's so many hotkeys I used my mouse's extra 3 buttons on the sides to log grab, pummel, and the running jump kick or punch, I'll probably revisit this one later as I'm aware that there's a new version coming eventually, I'd recommend this to players who want to try something new.
