https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/p-r/projuber Not every wad or mod can be a winner, I've said this repeatedly and I really don't like to admit it but sometimes, I can't find any connection to the current file I'm playing to give it a recommendation. Darsycho has already proven that he can make creative ideas with Beyond Reality and Mayhem Mansion but sadly, this mod is awfully generic and borders on being among the least inspired mods I've tried so far.

Released on November 16th 2016, Project Uber is a 6 level mod that has a orignal story where demons have made a supercomputer to crank out new demons and as Captain Akimbo, We're on a mission to stop it. To the mods credit we can dual wield pistols and even shotguns, plasma rifles, and rocket launchers but unfortunately, there's a bunch of annoying things that keep Project Uber from standing out.

A overlong tutorial is one issue, It does kinda irritate me when a wad or mod maker makes the intro or tutorial level drag on and on and on.. It's draining. New custom enemies are decent, and I even recognized the bloated butcher from Blood. The mod's biggest flaw? There's never a sense of challenge, I was being guided post video by obvious locations that marked where to go so it never felt rewarding...There might been fans out there of this mod, but i'm not one of them.
