https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/megawads/1klinecp Going back to concept wads, I myself think it's a good way to gauge how a idea will work within the mappers workspace for the doom engine, and in the case of this megawad, finding out it's 3rd release won a 2021 Cacoaward prompted me to check out the first release.

Released in April 2019, 1000 Lines Community Project is a 34 map megawad , The brainchild of Liberation (Philip Brown) with a all star list of contributors to boot including Paul Corfiatias, AD_79, Lord Z, and Breezeep with a searing soundtrack from James Paddock, AD_79, and some Jeremy Doyle hits from Icarus Alien Vanguard.

Each map has only 1000 linedefs except for Map34 Bad Treatment which has 1002 Linedefs. The overall megawad has 4 episodes to it's name also with a specific theme with City Levels, City/Hell, Hell, and Techbase. Don't believe that 1000 Lines Community Project is easy by any means, The maps are somewhat cruel in their monster ambush spawns and ammo puzzles abound in most of the offerings, It's last episode based around techbases goes full Scythe II with it's ambushes and ammo famines but, despite that, I think this wad proves that concept wads, are here to stay and evolve as time goes on.
