Released on December 14th 2021, RM2 is a 22 level megawad that follows a path similar to Rowdy Rudy 2 Powetrip in that its a community project led by DoomKid with names including Scypek2, Cheesewheel, SilverMiner and others while featuring a treasure trove of music. When I heard Frank Zappa's I Don't Wanna Get Drafted open up Map01, Back Ashore! I knew, yep, this isn't going to be just any vacation.
Just like in Rowdy Rudy II Powertrip, we've got a much more devastating arsenal with our handgun being powerful enough to bring down imps with a single shot, our knife doing 5 times the damage of the default berserk punch. Shotgun from Duke 3d? Check, The clone trooper rifle but a insanely powerful machinegun? Check, and possibly the most outrageous BFG replacement ever? You fucking bet.
Everything is bigger and badder in Ray Mohawk 2 Ray Wreaks Havoc with, again, DoomKid's custom monsters all taking center stage and the beautiful caribbean style maps. Not one time does DoomKid or any of the other mappers ever smother you or hold your hand through this megawad making it a fleshed out and very impressive wad. Again, props to DoomKid for giving me another wad to get lost in.
