Y'know, sometimes there are unexpected things that I didn't see coming like the announcement of Sigil 2 which will be covered later this year and mods I thought were dead are being revived. ZioMcCall released the "Confrontation" update of Brutal Wolfenstein in 2022, and at some point, I'll go over its current release, 7.0 which added Spear of Destiny to said mod in late 2024.
Brutal Wolfenstein V6.0 has new changes to its weapon sprites as the first thing, the Kar98 guard has been changed to now have a smoke grenade toss and additional sniper shot that can really do damage if you let them hit you. Other enemies remain unchanged such as the Officer's lightning fast grenade toss, and the MP40 Officer being even more dangerous then the SS troopers.
Added for V6.0 are some new bonus maps such as testing the new enemies, a new plasma like cannon weapon and various other things. As stated above, This update also adds the infamous Confrontation episode to this mod, and like in previous versions, ZioMcCall enhanced the maps to look more realistic and like actual castles and keeps. Everything about Brutal Wolfenstein screams quality and with the ammo/adrenaline to boot, I'd say its a mod that will appeal to all Doom and Wolfenstein players regardless of experience.
