Doom Wads/Mods #617:Greasy Z-Sloth
https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/g-i/gzsloth Now thats a name there.. I suppose. In my hunt for Hidden gems, I've gone over a lot of sites to find wads that I likely couldn't find anywhere else, though this wad has a broken Doom Wad Station link forcing me to look in Doomworld's I.D. Archive. This wad was going to be in Part 2 of my Rejected special but I brought it here to give credit where due.
Released by Derrick A. Allen and Bloodsplatter Inc on July 9th 2003, This PWAD is a story driven level that uses cutscenes, heavy scripting, and various tricks of the Zdoom source port engine at the time. A lot of Greasy Z-Sloth's difficulty or (lack of, if played carefully) is the reliance on monsters in clusters, and some odd choices in placement. I got stuck and wasn't sure how to get the red key which was disappointing, yet I enjoyed this wad for its creativity.
