Double Dragon V: The Shadow Falls - Atari Jaguar (1995)
5It's on the Jaguar, so you see where this is going. They had a full year after the SNES and Genesis versions to do...SOMETHING with the game, and this is what they came up with. 64-bit power, indeed.
As you can see, it's a boring, unintuitive, unbalanced mess. My first fight was a loss because literally everything was blocked and I can't even figure out if there's a throw button I could have used. Then I switch characters and just destroy the guy. It makes no sense.
Also, let's point out that it's not just the Jaguar that's the problem here. A little mini Double Dragon universe existed, and they were like "Nah, don't use those characters. We wanna break away and do something new. Let's build some new lore and tell new stories."
This cast is what they came up with. Brilliant.
