Doug Bowser will now step down as President and Chief Operating Officer of Nintendo of America on December 31, 2025. Why did he step down? We can only speculate.

His successor will be Devon Pritchard. She has been with Nintendo of America for many years and is currently Executive Vice President of Revenue, Marketing, and Consumer Experience. Additionally, Satoru Shibata will assume the position of CEO of Nintendo of America, while retaining his responsibilities as Managing Executive Officer and Corporate Director of Nintendo in Japan.
