How to complete the "Sharp Little Pinpricks" Side Quest in Dragon Age 2:

1. Wander around Lowtown at night in act 1 until you are attacked by Sharps Highwaymen. Once you've defeated enough of them you will intercept a letter revealing the location of their hideout.

2. Enter the hideout to trigger another fight.

As with all gang fights, once you defeat the Sharps highwaymen, you may travel to the hanged man and claim an additional reward.
