🎯 How to Unlock & Complete
Trigger the quest:
Speak with Davrin at the Lighthouse after Fire and Ice and completing the post-quest conversation. He’ll mention meeting someone in Arlathan Forest, marking the start of A Friend in Need
Travel to Arlathan Forest (Hidden Grove), accompany Davrin to Eldrin’s hut, and speak with Eldrin about the injured Halla
Collect Supplies:
1 Marpel tree branch – glowing orange tree in Tainted Woods.
3 Vanerberries – red bushes near the Evanuris Altar.
3 Stone Roots – lootable piles on a ruin structure (also hide a Fen’Harel Altar chest)
Feed the Halla:
Pack the items at the Cliffside Pass supply platform, climb up, blow the horn, and watch Assan pour berries for the Halla. Retrieve optional loot from a nearby chest if desired
Romance choice:
After the scene, choose either “I want to be with you” to commit to Davrin romantically (locks in romance and deepens bond), or pick a neutral option to stay friends. All choices increase Davrin’s approval
Return to Eldrin:
Head back with Davrin, speak with Eldrin to conclude the quest. This also unlocks a Hidden Grove fast-travel shortcut
