How to Start
After completing the “A Hidden Hoard” quest and reading the notes found within, the “Desperate in Dock Town” quest will automatically become available.
Objectives & Walkthrough
Enter the Forgotten Sanctuary:
Navigate to the east side of the Catacombs, across the zipline, to find the entrance to the Forgotten Sanctuary.
Confront the Demon of Desperation:
Inside, you'll encounter the Demon of Desperation, accompanied by other demons such as Despondence, Isolation, and Remorse.
These demons utilize cold-based attacks. Equip gear resistant to cold and use fire-based attacks to exploit their vulnerability.
Focus on eliminating the supporting demons first to reduce incoming damage, then concentrate on the Demon of Desperation.
After the battle, loot the area to obtain the “Magister’s End” weapon and unlock a shortcut for easier navigation.

Quest Type: Grey Wardens faction quest
Location: Hossberg Wetlands (Lavendel)
Prerequisites: Complete the main quest “Fire and Ice”
How to Start
After completing “Fire and Ice,” speak with Wardens Evka and Antoine in Grey Hold to initiate the “Something Wicked” quest.
Check In with the Wardens:
Talk to Evka and Antoine to learn about the impending darkspawn threat.
Ensure the Wardens Are Ready:
Visit the three Warden sentries:
Jaynie and Rhodri at the Lavendel Barricade (northeast)
Greta by the Blighted Tunnel (south)
Augustin by the Sheltered Glade (northwest)
Return to Evka to begin the defense of Lavendel.
Defend against multiple waves of darkspawn attacking from different directions. Utilize the ballista at the gates for added firepower.
After the final wave, a cutscene will play, and the quest will conclude.
