*The Snake Nest Deal Side Quest*
The Snake Nest Deal is a side quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, set in Dock Town, Minrathous. It becomes available after completing the main quest "Signs and Portents" and assembling your full party.
Initiate the Quest:
Speak to Sabina in Dock Town to learn about Atticus's disappearance.
Investigate the Snake Nest Bar:
Head east to the Snake Nest bar, identifiable by a bright green magic sign.
Inside, interact with:
A document to the right of the bartender.
A sleeping drunk to the left.
A pile of burned documents by the fire.
These clues are insufficient; proceed to search outside.
Follow the Blood Trail:
Exit the bar and locate a ladder to the left.
Climb the ladder and follow the bloodstains to a bloody outfit.
Enter the adjacent apartment to find more documents, including Linus's journal.
Rook will comment, prompting a return to the bartender.
Access the Storage Room:
Confront the bartender; she will provide a key to the storage room across the street.
Inside, interact with a suspicious book on the bookshelf to reveal a hidden area.
Pull the lever on the left wall to call the elevator and ride it down.
Explore the Crypts:
Drop into the pit ahead, avoiding spikes.
Break through the planks and slide down to a ritual site where Linus's body hangs.
Read the document beneath him to obtain Linus's Key.
Use the key to open a door leading to a cage containing Atticus's remains.
Inspect the body to gather proof for Sabina.
Exit the Area:
Break through boards to the right of Atticus's cage and knock down a wooden beam to create a bridge.
Carry the first power crystal across the bridge and place it in the nearby power node to open a portal.
Return to retrieve the second crystal, then use the portal to reach the start of the storage area.
Place the second crystal in its node to build a bridge across the pit.
Optionally, use the zipline to access a large chest puzzle.
Conclude the Quest:
Fast-travel back to Sabina and inform her of Atticus's fate to complete the quest.
