🗺️ Step-by-Step Guide
1. Initiate the "Restless Spirits" Quest
Availability: This quest becomes accessible after completing the main story quest "Where the Dead Must Go" and recruiting Emmrich.
Location: Speak to Emmrich at the Lighthouse to start the quest.
Objective: Travel to the Necropolis and solve a puzzle involving releasing wisps from four open doors in the central hall. Use these wisps to unlock a sealed door, leading to a battle against undead enemies.
2. Unlock the "Pinnacle of Its Kind" Quest
Trigger: After completing "Restless Spirits," you'll hear a mysterious voice behind another locked door in the Necropolis. Investigating this leads to the "Pinnacle of Its Kind" quest.
Objective: Defeat three powerful demons located in different regions of Thedas:
Dock Town
Arlathan
Hossberg
Mechanic: Each demon is tied to a brazier within a marked search area. Interact with the brazier to summon and defeat the demon.
3. Confront The Formless One
Return: After defeating all three demons, go back to the previously locked door in the Necropolis. It will now open, granting access to the boss arena.
Boss Fight: Face The Formless One, a level 40 High Dragon with substantial health and powerful attacks.
Preparation: Ensure your party is well-equipped, at a high level (preferably 40+), and stocked with health flasks.
Strategy: Focus on staggering the dragon to expose its weak points. Be mindful of its lightning-based attacks and summoned undead minions.
4. Earn the Trophy
Upon defeating The Formless One, the "The Unbound" trophy will unlock, signifying your triumph over this ancient threat.
