Dragon Age: The Veilguard "The First Entry With Fun Combat"... Says Lying BioWare
Bioware are a shell of their former selves but seems they’ve now gone full Star Wars / Disney, undermining past entries to try and make their latest, poor quality entry look better.
They’re now claiming that Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the first entry with “fun” combat, implying that Origins does not have fun combat which is pathetic given that first entry is the only reason the series even has a fan base.
On top of that, Veilguard doesn’t actually look to have interesting, rich combat at all (let alone fun), it looks like mindless hack and slash with robotic companions who basically only exist to make things easier with no strategy being required.
Nice to see even PC Gamer, calling Bioware out: https://www.pcgamer.com/games/dragon-age/according-to-bioware-dragon-age-the-veilguard-is-the-first-entry-in-the-series-where-the-combats-actually-fun-and-where-characters-are-intentionally-the-focus-of-the-storytelling-which-seems-pretty-unfair-on-the-first-three-games/
