🗺️ Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Initiate the Quest:
After completing the prerequisite quests ("The Siege of Weisshaupt" and "The Cobbled Swan Case" quests), speak with Emmrich at the Lighthouse to start "House of the Dead."
Travel to Blackthorne Manor:
Proceed to Blackthorne Manor, located northwest of the Grand Necropolis.
Optionally, explore the mausoleum to the left of the manor's entrance to face the Groundskeeper miniboss.
Explore the Manor:
Enter the manor and head to the library on the upper floor.
Pick up the Skeleton Key from a table near the sealed door with green glyphs.
Use the key to unlock doors leading to the Master Bedroom and Guest Room.
Free the Tormented Spirits:
In both the Master Bedroom and Guest Room, defeat the demons that appear.
Emmrich will perform rituals to free the tormented spirits in each room.
Enter the Fade:
Return to the library and enter the now-unsealed door to access the Fade.
In the Fade, find and placate a mischievous wisp to unlock a door.
Defeat the Greater Rage Demon and accompanying undead enemies.
Confront Hezenkoss:
Proceed through the Fade to encounter Johanna Hezenkoss, the rogue necromancer.
After a cutscene, defeat the summoned demons and free the final spirit.
Escape the Fade:
Collect two candles from designated locations within the Fade.
Place the candles on marked pedestals to allow Emmrich to create a bridge.
Cross the bridge and use the portal to return to the manor.
Final Confrontation:
Back in the manor, confront Hezenkoss once more.
Defeat the Rampant Ego, a powerful Pride Demon, along with its minions.
Complete the Quest:
After the battle, speak with Emmrich to conclude the quest and receive your rewards.
Rewards: 3,000 XP, +100 Mourn Watch Strength, increased bond with Emmrich
