We are currently in Chapter 1: Cantlin. Previously, Davilas built the Colossal Coffer, which greatly increased his available inventory. He also rescued Kenelm, a useful new resident.

After resuming, he builds a Forge at the Mason's Workstation. It requires 8 Stone, 3 Copper, and 3 Coal. When he places it in the Stonemason's Workshop, the building becomes a Stonemason's Smithy. At the new Forge, Davilas makes some Copper Ingots. When he does, he works out how to make a Sconce and a Copper Sword.

Davilas talks to Rollo (time 4:00). The monsters are planning a second attack. When Davilas says he's ready, the second battle for Cantlin begins. The enemies are a group of Brownies and a couple of Chimaeras. The monster leader is a large Brownie. Take care not to let the Brownies too close to town; their mallets will destroy Earth-constructed buildings quickly.

In the end, the people of Cantlin emerge victorious (time 5:22). Davilas earns a Seed of Life. Quest complete! Three townspeople now have quests available.

Next, Davilas talks to Kenelm (time 6:15). Kenelm asks Davilas to defeat the Iron Scorpion and observe its peculiar attack.

At the Mason's Workstation, Davilas makes a Leather Armour and a Shield. The Leather Armour is far better than the starting Ragged Rags. He also makes himself a second Giant Mallet for when he needs it.

Then, Davilas goes through the Blue Teleportal (time 8:57).

Some distance to the southwest, he finds some castle ruins in a valley (time 10:48). When he arrives, three Chimaeras and an Iron Scorpion attack. The Scorpion has a well telegraphed spin attack, so look out for that. Once all the enemies are defeated, Davilas must return to Cantlin.

Near the castle ruins, there is a damaged room that Davilas can repair (time 12:46). Within, there is a note on a crate. It speaks of an accursed castle not far away.

Back at the teleportal, Davilas returns to Cantlin (time 16:34).

There, he reports to Kenelm (time 16:47). Davilas learns the Spinning Slice, inspired by the spin attack from Zelda. It is handy not only for attacking enemies but also for gathering materials en masse. Davilas also earns 5 Healing Creams. Quest complete!

Afterwards, Davilas takes down the Basic Bedroom and Crude Kitchen in the northeast of Cantlin. In the place of this building, he builds the Greasy Mallet from the blueprint in the Hammerton Heights treasury. The Crockery that he needs is made at the Cookfire, not the Mason's Workstation. However, he does need to use the Mason's Workstation to create the Stone Tables and Stone Stools.

Davilas makes the Crockery and Fruit Salad at the Cookfire (time 22:51). This gives him the knowledge to make the Salad Plate.

Constructing the Greasy Mallet results in a Cookfire Café (time 25:25). This type of building prevents Davilas's hunger meter from depleting while he is in his base. Very handy.

Davilas eventually finishes the Greasy Mallet (time 26:07). He gets another Greasy Mallet blueprint for future construction.

Next time, Davilas will continue the upgrades to Cantlin with a couple of quests for Pippa.
