The Dragon Quest + game is at the link below (use a potato PC or gaming hybrid that runs Windows). Did like the forest maze using DQ5 music. I did have to crop out my cursor after I died and recorded (game bar is kinda finicky to start recording) which made that line at the top of the screen, but you have to be looking for it to find.

Just wish I could quick save but I appreciate easy mode (get the copper sword first; it will help vs gold man with drops about 2000 gold), improved menus and the DQ3 personality questions to start (not sure how it affects this game but could be stat growth, just know the first Dragon Quest did not have a party for allies/monsteds so it is limited, and you do olay another character here).

You need an item called skip carrots to avoid cheap poison death which does not give you 1 minimum HP) and animated monsters. Surprised the bank has a cost to use (100 gold) but doesn't have an interest system (maybe every 5 battles or hour would be cool). Either way, it is way better than the switch trilogy (which DQ3 omits the Treasures 'n Trapdoors board minigame).
