Previously, the party helped liberate the prisoners in Gallows Moor from the tyranny of Blackmar. Now, they will check around the castle and then see about freeing the Supreme Sage. The festivities are already underway in the town area on level B2. Fortunately, Sister Anne is sleeping peacefully.

One informative person is the scholar at the southeast table on the first floor (time 7:34). If the party forgives him, he will let them know that the road to the Archfiend's castle starts at Death's Cape northwest of Gallows Moor. However, he warns that the Archfiend has the power of illusions at his disposal.

Finally, the party heads down to the Supreme Sage's cell on level B4 (time 17:25). Captain Blade is ready and waiting for the party to open the cell door.

As the party unlocks the door, Blade rushes in to help the sage (time 17:49). When the party follows him in, he tells them to unlock the chains.

So, the party heads forward to the Supreme Sage (time 18:17). They must use the Jailor's Key from inventory to unlock his chains (time 18:43). It turns out that this is not Supreme Sage Isaac but his younger brother, Benjamin. Isaac is actually imprisoned elsewhere, near the Archfiend's castle. He gives the party the Orb of Truth, which they can use at Death's Cape to the northwest to unlock the path to Isaac's prison. After Benjamin loses consciousness, Captain Blade has some words for Heorot before heading back upstairs.

Leaving Benjamin to rest, the party returns upstairs to the festivities (time 23:06). However, the next morning, the Archfiend strikes. He turns the people to stone or transforms them into animals. Mortamor is such a jerk.

Unaffected, the party wakes up on level B2 (time 23:57).

Down on level B4, they find that Supreme Sage Benjamin set up a shield to protect himself (time 26:01). Fortunately, he seems to be all right now. They talk to him to let him know what happened to the townspeople.

Benjamin will speak again when the party goes to leave (time 27:12). He directs them to take the Orb of Truth to the Sea of Nothingness at Death's Cape.

Party chat ensues after the party leaves the castle (time 28:38). Then, they go to save in Despairia. Fortunately, the folks here are still whole.
