Previously, Davilas the Elf Minstrel started the storyline at the first Elf hub city, Azlan. He visited the mansion and introduced himself to Father Taketora. Fuura seems to live there, as well. Davilas also carried out a couple of quests: Quest 031 to unlock support characters from the pub, and Quest 033 to enable Mini Medal use.

He also accepted Quest 032 to unlock the concierge services at inns. He will carry this quest out in short order to get the ability to use Genki Balls and accelerate his leveling.

But first, he will go get his free Angel Slime hat, which will accelerate leveling even more. He talks to the wagon outside Azlan to get a quick ride back to the starter town, Tsusukuru (time 0:53). This deposits him just outside the town's southern entrance.

Just inside town, he talks with Amaha, the girl in an Angel Slime hat (time 1:57). After saying "Yes" a couple of times, he is equipped with some stylish new headwear!

After zooming back to Azlan, Davilas rests, reaching Fame Level 3 (time 4:04). Now, it is time to carry out Quest 032. If you are on the Elf continent, you can go after Paralyslicers in the Kirika region. Other continents have their own targets, such as Bodkin-type enemies. Davilas uses the wagon to get to the Azlan countryside's northeast checkpoint (time 5:20). From there, he exits northeast to the Kirika region (time 6:13).

There, he targets Paralyslicers (しびれだんびら) (time 6:36). A target marker will highlight the quest's target. Right away, he gets what he needs for the quest: Astor Bromide (アストルニウム). Uncommonly quick!

Back in Azlan, he takes the quest item to the concierge at the inn (time 8:25). One of the prizes is another Urubea coin.

And upon completion of this quest, Davilas reaches Minstrel Level 18 (time 10:19). He learns the spell "Bagi," or Woosh/Infernos. Heck yes! I quite like getting experience by carrying out quests.

Davilas goes ahead and stocks up on Genki Balls with the second option.

Now, Davilas will carry out Quest 006 for Maetake, the elf standing by the elk outside the inn. This quest is to get an item from the Foo Dog creatures roaming around the Azlan countryside. They seem to appear in the northwestern part of the region, particularly at night (time 14:49).

After a bit of killing, Davilas gets the quest drop (time 19:04). It appears to be a flower of some kind.

Back in Azlan, he takes the item to Maetake in front of the inn (time 20:13). However, Maetake has another goal in mind. He wants Davilas to take it over to Fushiko, a girl at the elk stables below the mansion at B-5/B-6 (time 22:27). I'm not sure, but it seems that she gives it to the elk as a snack! Ha ha!

Then, he returns to Maetake to report on the outcome (time 24:19). I wonder if he's miffed that his gesture of love became an elk's snack. Anyway, one of the quest rewards is well worth the effort: 5 Magic Waters!

After clearing this quest, Davilas reaches Minstrel Level 19 and gains 4 skill points (time 25:01). He puts one more point into the Minstrel skill Litheness to learn the next ability, "Tsukkomi." He also puts the remaining three points into staves, which is the Minstrel's second weapon skill. At three skill points, attack power when wielding a staff goes up.

In the nearby house, the little elf Maitake at F-6/G-6 has another quest (time 28:01). I wonder if he is Maetake's younger brother. Not sure exactly what he's asking for, though, because there is no quest number. Something about Level 20. I'll accept it just to get it on the books, though.

At the shops, Davilas lightens up his inventory and sells some things, including his three Urubea coins that are worth 2,000 gold apiece (time 30:15). Woo nelly!

Then, he goes to hire some support characters at the pub (time 33:14). Again, he gets a Priest, a Gladiator, and a Warrior.

Madaraki, the soldier by the town exit, seems to have information about hunt tasks (time 37:03). He accepts a task to slay ten "Donguri Bebii," or Acorn Babies, out in the Azlan countryside. That reward of 1,600 experience points is enticing!

So, now Davilas leaves town again (time 39:32). Now, the goal is to slay Acorn Babies along the way north to the Cape of Tears at B-1. Again, a marker will point out the task target.

Before long, Davilas gets his last Acorn Baby (time 45:02).

Along the way north, Davilas reaches Minstrel Level 20 (time 47:25). He learns "Rukanan," or Kasap, and gains 4 skill points. Putting them into staves, he learns an offensive ability that is something like Clean Sweep. It is an AOE staff swing that can stun nearby foes.

In the northwest at B-2, Davilas finds a random blue chest that contains 180 gold (time 50:16). A nice find!
