This is video #140 in my playthrough of Dragon Quest XI: 過ぎ去りし時を求めて (Echoes of an Elusive Age). I am playing the Japanese version for the Sony PlayStation 4. Previously, the part continued the sidequest mayhem in Nagimunaa and Nerusen's Inn. Now, they will wrap up the tracked sidequests for now with the quests in Muurea and Shikesubia.

After resuming, they zoom to the Undersea Kingdom Muurea (time 1:03). First, they visit Queen Seren to get turned into fish.

In the building southeast of and above the equipment shop, they talk to the sea turtle (time 3:16). He issues Quest 44: "600-Year Wish to Open" ("開館600年の願い"). It has been his wish for 600 years to open a museum! He asks the party to find a large cannon. The party will have to find it in Nagimunaa.

In the lower level, they talk to the mermaid on the wrecked ship (time 5:12). She issues Quest 45: "The Seabed Trial is Now in Session!" ("海底裁判ただいま開廷！"). She is in need of a senior lawyer's case files on the surface.

For Quest 44, the party zooms to Nagimunaa (time 6:37). Outside the northeastern house, they talk to the old lady (time 7:55). She hands over a Cannon from her collection. How swell of her!

For Quest 45, the party has to go to West Medachatto Island. So, they zoom to the White Cove (time 8:56). They board the ship and sail north. They land at West Medachatto Island (time 9:58). In the southeast house on the island, they open the chest and acquire the Senior Lawyer's Case Collection (time 10:39). Fancy!

The party zooms back to Muurea (time 11:14). They again have to visit Queen Seren to get turned into fish.

In the southeast building, they turn in the Cannon to the sea turtle (time 13:20). He rewards them with a recipe book for the Oceanos Spear. Quest 44 complete!

In the lower level, they turn in the case files to the mermaid lawyer (time 14:48). She rewards them with the Royal Charm. This accessory provides a couple of resistances. Quest 45 complete!

Then, the party zooms to the Shikesubia Snowfields camp (time 16:45).

In Scholar Eckehart's hut in the north, they talk to the soldier (time 18:15). The soldier issues Quest 46: "I Will Dedicate to My Younger Brother" ("亡き弟に捧ぐ"). There are Killer Machines in the area, and there is an associated reincarnated monster called the Type G. The soldier asks the party to defeat a Type G and return with the Type G Parts it leaves behind. The Type G will randomly appear with Killer Machines in the southern part of the area. The frozen pond in the southeast is a decent place to find them.

During the fighting, Martina reaches Level 44 (time 21:33). She gains 4 skill points for a total of 12.

After a few tries, they find an encounter with a Type G (time 26:04). It is a red version of the Killer Machine. It is tougher, and it can attack three times in a turn.

At the end of the battle, Davilas reaches Level 45 (time 28:52). He gains 8 skill points for a total of 26. Sylvia reaches Level 45 and gains 8 skill points for a total of 11. The Type G drops a Chronocrystal.

After the battle, the party acquires the Type G Parts (time 29:30).

At the scholar's cabin in the north, they give the Type G Parts to the soldier (time 33:07). He rewards them with the Metal Slime Armour! Yesss! Quest 46 complete!

The party zooms to camp to rest (time 34:54). Examining the Mysterious Blacksmith, Davilas gains another crafting level (time 35:30).

That's it for the quests I want to do right now. Next time, I foresee the start of another gambling spree.
