Previously, the party did a sidequest in Nagimunaa and two in the Medal Academy. Now, they will resume their questing, starting in the Medal Academy.

One quest-giver is Professor Marianne, a Lips just outside the main entrance to the Medal Academy building (time 1:39). She issues Quest 34: "Ms. Marianne's Daily Lesson" ("マリアンヌ先生の生活指導"). She wants Davilas to equip armour and accessories to maximize his Style, or "Miryoku".

Afterwards, Davilas gets himself equipped (time 3:00). He already has the Miracle Sword, which provides some Style. He equips the Yugunoa Helm +2, the Parade Clothes, a Prayer Ring, and the Venus' Tear. The Venus' Tear is a reward from a quest in Nagimunaa. The Style of the Parade Clothes can be enhanced by upgrading them with the Mysterious Blacksmith.

Once he is all pretty, he talks to Marianne again (time 4:21). She rewards him with the Trebian recipe book: Trebian Crown and Trebian Suit. Quest 34 complete!

Then, just outside the headmaster's office, the party talks to a zombie named Colt (time 6:25). She issues Quest 35: "The Sweet-Smelling Child" ("いい香りのするあの子"). She asks Davilas to visit her father, Smith, in the Wilderness Labyrinth west of Homura. It's easy to get there since getting Homura back on the zoom list after gaining the power of flight.

The party zooms to Homura (time 7:38). Upon arrival, they exit to Homusubi Mountains (time 8:14).

Along the way west to the dungeon, they rest at the Homusubi Mountains camp to get it back on the zoom list (time 9:25).

Then, in the northwest, they enter the Wilderness Labyrinth (time 10:03). Nicely enough, it seems that the enemies within have not been upgraded.

Along the way, they will find a family of friendly zombies.

In the north of the dungeon, the party finds Colt's father, Smith, by some alchemy equipment (time 12:30). Smith gives Davilas the Honky Perfume to take to Colt.

The party zooms back to the Medal Academy (time 13:45). They deliver the Honky Perfume to Colt near the headmaster's office (time 14:52). She rewards them with the Hades' Helm. Darn. I suspect that this is cursed. Quest 35 complete!

The party next zooms to the port town of Daaharuune (time 15:46). Their first client is a woman in the east (time 17:22). She issues Quest 37: "Phantom Flowers Blooming in the Desert" ("砂漠に咲く幻の花"). She asks Davilas to find one of the elusive Desert Roses that blooms in Samadii Desert. A fond reminder of the Desert Roses from DQ5.

Afterwards, the party zooms to the Homusubi Mountains camp that they just reenabled (time 18:42). Southwest of the camp, they exit to Samadii Desert (time 19:52).

In the southern cul-de-sac of the desert, they find the Desert Rose (time 20:46). Look out for the enemies emerging from the sand.

Then, west of the castle, they rest at the southwest Samadii Desert camp to get it back on the zoom list (time 21:47).

They exit west to Daahara Marshes (time 22:27). They rest at the Daahara Marshes camp to get it back on the zoom list, as well (time 23:07).

The party zooms back to Daaharuune (time 23:22). They report in to their client on the eastern side of town and give her the Desert Rose (time 24:44). She rewards them with a Happy Hat! Quest 37 complete!

A merman is holding forth on the stage in the north of town.

On the overlook northwest of the stage, the party finds another client, an old man (time 26:56). He issues Quest 38: "The Future of the Sage's Stone" ("けんじゃの石のゆくえ"). He is interested in seeing the Sage's Stone! Apparently, it is in the water somewhere east of Derukadaaru. Muurea, perhaps?

The party zooms to the ship off the coast of Van der Fon (time 28:27). After Jakora's defeat, they can use the pillar of light southwest of Van der Fon to return to Muurea (time 29:21). It's nice to see that the undersea kingdom is in such good condition following Jakora's assault.

In the palace, they talk to the guard to get escorted to the throne room (time 30:34). Then, they talk to the queen (time 31:03). She thanks them for taking care of Jakora.

They talk to Queen Seren again (time 31:30). When they consent, she transforms them into fish! They can now explore Muurea freely.

On the southwestern plateau, they examine a glowing spot (time 32:29). They find the Sage's Stone! It works as it does in other games: when used as an item in battle, it will restore some HP to the whole party for free.
