Previously, the party continued quests at the Medal Academy and in Daaharuune. Now, the mad questing will continue in Nagimunaa Village.

After resuming, the party zooms to Nagimunaa Village (time 1:17). On the southwest beach, they talk to a boy who is standing near a mermaid (time 2:20). In the 3DS version, they will appear on Shijima Beach to the north instead. Despite the adult villagers' distrust of mermaids, he wants to help this one recover her voice. Isn't that sweet? To this end, he issues Quest 39: "I Want to Help a Mermaid" ("人魚さんを助けるさぁ～"). He wants Davilas to obtain an Uruuru Comb from a merman near Kreimoran. The merman is actually on South Shikesubia Island.

The party zooms to Kreimoran (time 3:48). When they arrive, they talk to Alice-chan to board the ship (time 4:28). They ship out and sail southeast.

Along the way, Camus reaches Level 44 (time 5:36). He gains 5 skill points for a total of 10. Halfway to getting the guaranteed crit ability!

The party lands at South Shikesubia Island (time 6:37). On the bridge near the dock, they talk to the fishing merman (time 6:57). He readily hands over the Uruuru Comb for the mermaid.

The party zooms back to Nagimunaa Village (time 7:47). On the southeast beach, they deliver the Uruuru Comb to the mermaid (time 8:28). It seems to soothe her throat quickly.

Then, they report to the boy (time 9:14). He rewards them with five Metal Slime Drops. Quest 39 complete!

Then, west of the town's piers, the party finds a burly fisherman with a quest (time 10:56). He issues Quest 40: "Let's! Honeymoon Prayer" ("レッツ！豊漁祈願"). He asks the party to procure a Giant Squid Tentacle from a Kragon, which appears in the northern ocean and around East Van der Fon Island. To get the tentacle, Davilas and Sylvia must defeat the Kragon with their Renkei, Explosive Flame Slash. It requires the hero's Flame Slash and Sylvia's Flame Breath. It also requires Davilas, at least, to be in the zone, and perhaps Sylvia. Sylvia is already in the zone and in reserve, so that leaves getting Davilas in the zone.

The party zooms aboard the ship near Nagimunaa (time 12:43).

After a little while, they encounter a Kragon (time 16:55). They whittle him down to the red, and then they defend and heal until Davilas gets in the zone. The shiny new Sage's Stone is quite a boon. Then, they Oomph Davilas, and Davilas and Sylvia roast Kragon with Explosive Flame Slash (time 24:02). The main annoyance is Kragon's Sweet Breath. If any participant in a Renkei is asleep, it cannot be used.

After defeating the Kragon properly, the party acquires the Giant Squid Tentacle (time 24:25).

The party zooms back to Nagimunaa (time 24:46). There, they turn in the Giant Squid Tentacle to the sailor (time 25:38). He rewards the party with the Pentagram, a boomerang for Camus. This is a good upgrade if you have yet to find the Meteor Edge in the central high ground in Napugaana Jungle. Quest 40 complete!

Afterwards, they zoom to Nerusen's Inn in the Van der Fon region (time 26:58). In the inn area, they find a minstrel strumming away on his lute (time 27:35). He issues Quest 42: "Some Song" ("ゆうきのうた"). He asks the party fo find a Poet's Score in the Yugunoa region.

The party zooms to the camp in the Yugunoa region (time 28:49). Inside the cabin in the southwest, they find a treasure chest (time 30:50). It contains the Poet's Score!

The party zooms back to Nerusen's Inn in Van der Fon (time 31:17). There, they deliver the Poet's Score to the rocking minstrel (time 31:45). He rewards them with the Sage's Favorite Recipe Book. It has several sagely recipes, including the Sage's Staff, a hat, and body wear. Quest 42 complete!

Afterwards, the party earns the accolade "Master Quest" for completing 40 quests (time 33:03). Also, the player earns the silver trophy "Quest Master" for the same feat.

The party is approaching the end of the quests that are currently available. Next time, they will continue the questing.
