This is video #37 in my Dragon Warrior III playthrough. The party returns to the Tower of Arp for a little monster hunting. This is to prepare the Hero for the next dungeon, the Navel of the Earth west of Lancel.

After just a few minutes, Angelo the Pilgrim reaches Level 25 (time index 1:32). A short time later, Heorot the Hero reaches Level 25 (time index 3:29). After a few more minutes, Alyssa the Soldier reaches Level 21 (time index 5:04). Soon afterwards, Jessica the Sage reaches Level 19 (time index 6:14).

After several minutes, Heorot reaches Level 26 and learns Zap, Alyssa reaches Level 22, and Angelo reaches Level 26 (time index 7:49).

Upon their departure from the Tower of Arp, they Return to Lancel to heal up (time index 9:40). Then, they give Heorot the Hero as many Medical Herbs as possible. He should also have the Final Key.

By the shrine to the north, there are people to talk to in the rooms to the east and west. One minister talks about the Yellow Orb.

At the northern end of the main shrine in Lancel (time index 13:17), the gentleman challenges Heorot the Hero to challenge the Navel of the Earth alone. When he takes the northwest exit from the shrine, Heorot is in the desert surrounded by mountains to the west of Lancel.

The cave is the Navel of the Earth (time index 14:22). Upon entering the cave, Heorot goes south. Past the door, the intersecting hall simply loops around, so he continues south. In the next hall, he takes the first west exit to collect 248 Gold. In the southeast exit, he finds an Intelligence Seed. The other two exits just have Mimics, which are exceedingly dangerous for a solo character. To the south, he follows the hall east to a set of stairs leading down.

B2 is a massive, rectangular chamber (time index 16:35). The stairs that he used dump him in the southwest part of the hall. He first heads a little north and then east to an up staircase.

Back up on B1 (time index 16:46), Heorot follows the corridor west, south and east to a treasure chest containing the Armor of Terrafirma. An awesome new piece of equipment for him.

After going back downstairs (time index 17:34), he goes straight north to the down staircase in the northeast part of the hall. Down on B3 (time index 17:43), he goes west and takes the corridor north and west. The faces along the corridor keep telling him to turn back, but he just ignores them. At the end of the corridor, he will find two treasure chests: one with a Medical Herb and the other with a Blue Orb. That is Orb number 4!

With this, all Heorot has to do is cast Outside and then go back to Lancel (time index 21:13) to pick up his compatriots. Only two Orbs left! By the way, as a Sage, Jessica can now use the Magic Armor.
