In this video, Dragon's Lair 3 The Curse of Mordread , released in 1992 for the Atari ST by Readysoft.
Everyone wants to marry princess Daphne because, after having traveled through time, in this final chapter of the saga, Dirk the darking must face the evil Mordread that has kidnapped once again poor Daphne right in front of him.
Graphically Dragon's Lair 3, which supports STE extended color palette, is a good game, with plenty of digitized backgrounds coupled with 9.8KHz quality digitized sound. The thing is that the animations are poor, the framerate is too low to appreciate the game. After many attempt at playing this IMHO awful game, I left the video footage nearly unedited to show how the game plays in real time, with loading times between scenes. It becomes so confusing that, when the game resume from loading state, you take the risk to make the required move too late. It has been a nightmare playing it without doing bad moves long enough to have something to show.
