Dren608 plays XCOM: Enemy Within in "Every Man" mode.
Every Man mode is : Playing on standard difficulty, with tutorials on, not trying to "Min Max" just experiencing the game as it unfolds.
I haven't played in years, but we will be trying to play this one, then continue through the series (XCOM2, XCOM: Chimera Squad) using the same basic format.
Come along with me to Experience these Sci-Fi Battle Games once again, let's see if I can remember how to "win" these things.

0:00 Recap, Base decisions, push time
2:01 Research complete, read out, assign new, build plasma cannons, push time
4:50 Psi Labs we have another gifted soldier, ability and soldier checks, push time
5:33 Council mission, build team, launch, Briefing, land
9:23 objective given, move to contact
11:46 Zombie spotted take with overwatch, advance
12:35 Another Zombie, get it and continue advance, several turns
18:32 Zombie Get with overwatch
18:53 Remember from previous games, Blow up the shark (it has Chryssalid in it)
21:51 Zombie by overwatch, trigger 3 Chryssalids, take them out!
25:08 Advancing on "The Ship"
28:32 Trigger 3 Chryssalids, need to get them now! advance towards the ship
30:32 More Zombie Head shot, advance
33:10 advance get new objective, continue moving, think I goofed
35:36 They are coming out of the Whale, take them down while Longbow gets into position
42:03 They spawn, we shoot one, activate the transponder and begin to run
44:05 So here out its a Cover fire leapfrog retreat to pick up zone (overwatch is working)
51:40 Can we get out with 4 turns left on the timer?
52:42 Cut scene, A.A.R., R.T.B., promotion, review panic, base bits
56:13 Review, Plans, Sign Off
