Go around islands claiming dojos for your own! :3 (Mine are all called Daaaa Dojo since my player name is "だあぁぁ" XD) I already cleared 3 islands so this is super early gameplay! I doubt I'll make it till the end cuz I would think Hard and Oni challenges kick in eventually. =_=
In this clip, Don is fighting against the rival's flunkies. D: Every challenge isn't like this though; most of them are solo ones with conditions like get a score of over 250000 or get a combo over 120!
Anyway, the Item note can totally make or break a challenge! Getting a Power Up (helpful) or Attack (spam the other players with crap) items seems dependent on whether you hit the correct note (Don or Kat or the big versions) that's in its place. I don't think you can stop the roulette thing though. :/ So, it's possible that you can be doing well with a full combo or highest score and then BOOM! You get dropped to 4th place because an enemy got a "take first place" item. -_-;
