3This is a User Map called "Lost Moonbase" by Alejandro Glavic. It is one of his early maps, and I believe this was released around 2002 maybe.
Lost Moonbase is a typical Alejandro Glavic map. It has a high detail design but unfortunately, gameplay falls way behind, which is really a shame, because a map like this would certainly deserve another playthrough for its good visuals' sake.
This map has 2 secrets, but I never found either of them. Gameplay is mostly Shotgun / Chaingun grinding, and explosives should be considered a miracle to come by. I don't know if those secrets might have explosives or not.
Visuals are the thing here, we can find nice spritework, sectory details, exploding reactors, "custom" items and nice spinning lights. As stated earlier, gameplay is built around Shotgun / Chaingun grinding and combat settings are often narrow and repetitive. Also the lack of explosives makes the battles feel boring and demoralizing, but at least it is a short map.
Had this map had a box of Pipebombs, or even Laser Tripbombs, it would have been much more fun.
