So this is just a test, it's not perfect, looks better in other parts then some.
I used an upscaled 720p E3 trailer uploaded and made by Burning Fish Gaming which they have uploaded here - https://youtu.be/ealHgUG1SFE

I then used Dain App to add extra frames in by ai once that was done, I threw it into sony vegas and got the clip split into chunks again. I then put all 9122 clips into Topaz Gigapixel AI and used a art/CG template and upscaled by 2x (2556x1440). As you can see it's not 100% perfect and some parts look better than others. I believe some other frames needed a different template applied or settings tweak. I then put it into Sony vegas once more, saved it as a video and then placed that video in again and I was able to resize the video itself to remove black bars. I know it kinda stretches and might look a bit off to some which is why I added the non stretched version which can be viewed here - https://youtu.be/tlu4HQo5xAA

When I first did it, I think it did a better job but then I don't have enough video ram for Dain app to add more frames to a 2K video so I had to go back a few steps but thats ok.

This is for only testing purposes, I'm sure someone could do a better job while its not too hard to do it's pretty damn time consuming. I did this roughly in a day or just under. And more of a what we can achieve and that sort of thing.
