Discussing one of my pet peeves as a player and dungeon master. I've seen gaming sessions and campaigns alike ruined by an over zealous game master. Those who are more willing to take up the DMing reins are by nature a bit more assertive. This can make it tough to give more control to the players. It's probably more of a problem in games like Pathfinder and Dungeons and Dragons as where games like Fate and Dungeon World player agency is a core mechanic of the game.
