This is a pretty great roleplaying game for the Sega Genesis based around the popular D&D franchise and similar in design and perspective to some of the Ultima games such as Ultima: The False Prophet and Ultima: Warriors of Destiny and other D&D/AD&D games.

If you've played a D&D/AD&D game before like Pool of Radiance or any of those games with the ability to create your own character, sleep and memorize spells like Eye of the Beholder, then this game will be all too familiar. The D&D design is naturally more simplified than AD&D or games like it with more complex characteristics. An example is the simplified character creation system which limits certain races to certain classes (updated in AD&D), but it's basically a lot of the same, only executed better than some games of its kind on a home console.
