Session XXIX - Part 2 Summary:

The Drogans once again stand before the double doors on which has been written, "Stay out. Really."

Brimming with a lack of confidence, they open the doors.

Coltaine briefs the Drogans on a plan of action, which immediately falls apart as bubbles erupt from the water's surface, emitting a horrid stench. Autumn, Win'tyr, and Zook are weakened and dazed with nausea.

The Drogans roll initiative.

The slime erupts from the water and strikes Coltaine down to 18/35 HP, leaving an acidic residue on him.

Rekoj swims to circle the slime with his weapon in hand and shield equipped, because in 4th edition, swimming doesn't make any kind of sense in order to avoid having valiant paladins drown in 5 feet of water.

Win'tyr pelts the slime with two arrows.

Zook shifts out of lynx form and fires a flame seed at the slime, barely singing it.

Round 2 begins.

Acid burns Coltaine down to 13/35 HP. He chops into the slime.

The slime erupts like a volcano, splashing Rekoj in the face for 11 damage, then chases after Coltaine and knocks him out with 16 damage.

Rekoj swims back to land.

Win'tyr misses with his daily power.

Zook tries to administer first aid to Coltaine, but fails.

Round 3 begins.

Coltaine is burned down to -8 hp.
