Dwarf Fortress Part 2 - Spring
1Dwarf Fortress is probably one of the most complex games you can play on a PC. Your job is to guide a group of Dwarfs in establishing a new settlement / fortress. It tracks many objects including their composition and quality and the personalities and wants and desires of your dwarfs. You designate where to dig and what build and what to grow. the the dwarfs with decide which of the jobs to do first, and if they become hungry or tired will stop working to eat or sleep.

In this video, I play through Spring, and explain the basic controls of the game. I dig out some rooms, set up the initial workshops, create a dormitory for the dwarfs to sleep, and create some farms for the growing of food.
The video does cut off about 10 minutes before I stopped playing, as I ran out of drive space while recording. I'll go over what was missed in the next video, and I'll make sue that doesn't happen again.
